Operation Encompass

It's every child's right

Operation Encompass is a police and education safeguarding partnership that ensures schools are notified before 9 a.m. the next school day if a child has experienced domestic abuse. This allows trained school staff ("Key Adults") to provide immediate emotional support and tailored care, mitigating the impact of trauma. It is now a statutory requirement in England and Wales.

At The Brow CP School our 'Key Adult' is Mrs Webb, who is also the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
