Core British Values
At our school, we actively promote the core British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. These values are woven through our curriculum and everyday school life, helping children to develop a strong sense of fairness, responsibility, and respect for others. Through activities such as school council, class discussions, and assemblies, pupils learn to express their views, understand the importance of rules, and celebrate diversity, preparing them to be thoughtful, respectful members of modern British society.

We also place great importance on developing positive virtues that help children grow into kind, responsible, and confident individuals. Through our daily learning and interactions, we encourage values such as honesty, kindness, resilience, respect, and perseverance. These virtues are celebrated across the school and woven into our curriculum, assembly planner and whole school events, helping pupils to make good choices, build strong relationships, and face challenges with confidence. By nurturing these qualities, we support every child in becoming a thoughtful and caring member of the community.
