Welcome to our class page. Here you will find the information you need about what it is like to be a pupil in Class 6.
Curriculum
This is what a week in Class 6 looks like:

Autumn Term 1
Curriculum
This term we will be using the following books as the stimulus for our English lessons:

In Maths we will learning about place value within 10,000,000 and four operations.
This half term our P.E. days are on Wednesday and Friday. On Wednesdays we will be learning about hockey and on Fridays we will be swimming.

In Science we are exploring the question, 'How do scientists classify big and small?'

In History we are learning about what the Census can tell us about Runcorn.


In Computing we are learning about communication; in Music we are learning about dynamics, pitch and tempo; in Spanish we are learning about the daily life of a superhero; in art we are learning about drawing and making our voices heard and in DT we are learning to design and make automata toys; in R.E. we are learning about Buddhism and what we mean by a good life and in PSHE we are learning about family and relationships.

Homework:
Homework will be set digitally on SATs Companion. It will be set on a Friday to be completed by the following Thursday. We also expect the children to read at home for at least ten minutes five days per week and encourage them to sign their reading records each time they read. We keep a record of home reads and children are rewarded for their efforts.
