Welcome to our class page. Here you will find the information you need about what it is like to be a pupil in Class 6.
Curriculum
This is what a week in Class 6 looks like:

Summer Term 1
Curriculum
This term we will be using the following books as the stimulus for our English lessons:

In Maths we will be learning about algebra, statistics, measurements and geometry.
This half term our P.E. day is Wednesday. We will be developing our skills in football and cricket.

In Science we are learning about animals and humans: circulation and health.

In History we are learning about the impact of war on the people of Britain.


In Computing we are learning about variables in games; in Music we are learning about baroque; in Spanish we are learning about free time in Spain; in art we are learning about sculpture and in DT we are learning to make steady hand games; in R.E. we are learning about Hindu Dharma and in PSHE we are learning about safety and the changing body.

Homework:
Homework will be set digitally on SATs Companion. It will be set on a Friday to be completed by the following Thursday. We also expect the children to read at home for at least ten minutes five days per week and encourage them to sign their reading records each time they read. We keep a record of home reads and children are rewarded for their efforts.
