Autumn Term 2
What a busy half term! This half term we experienced our first school trip at The Brow School. We enjoyed walking to the library and visiting Father Christmas at The Brindley. Whilst at The Brindley, we watched 'Santa's Best Ever Christmas' performance. We all sang along and danced to the music.
We have all made fantastic progress this half term. We have enjoyed learning new code in phonics and exploring how numbers can be made. We have been learning lots about seasons, in particular winter. We took our art lesson outside so that we could draw the winter trees. We are all able to recognise many signs of winter!
This half term we have also learned about colour mixing and the Christmas story. We walked to St Mary's Church to take part in The Brow Christingle service. We dressed as the characters in the Nativity scene. We now know why Christmas is a very special celebration.

Autumn Term 1
What a great start the year! We have really enjoyed getting to know each other this half term.
We have been busy making friends and playing together. We have learned about celebrations including Harvest and Diwali. We really enjoyed making our Diwali candles. We read The Gingerbread Man and practised lots of counting. We also learned about World Mental Health Day and got to spend time in our new school library.
We have had many wonderful treats for earning our 20 class points. Our favourite treat was spending a morning with our buddies. We watched a film, had popcorn and got to play outside together. We are very excited for next half term!
