The children will earn rewards for demonstrating positive behaviour, positive attitudes towards learning and working towards our school three school rules:

1. Be Safe

2. Be Kind

3. Be Respectful

The children will receive praise points for individual behaviours and class points for whole class efforts. When 20 class points have been awarded the children will choose their class reward. Autumn Term 2

This section will be updated at the end of term (December 2022).

Autumn Term 1

What a great first half term! We have really enjoyed getting to know the children and playing with them in school. The children have worked hard this half term by learning our daily routines and structure. We have focussed on learning our school rules, looking after our equipment and tidying up at the end of activity sessions.

The children have really enjoyed taking part in our daily dough disco sessions. We know all about the importance of having strong fingers! The children have also learned about signs of Autumn, living things and their own history from birth. We discussed how we have changed since birth and what it is that makes us living. After learning about living things, many children used the magnifying glasses to find living things in the outdoor provision.

Our half term highlights have been: making gingerbread men, catching the mischievous gingerbread man who jumped out of the oven, taking part in Yoga for World Mental Health Day, learning about colour mixing and getting to know our buddies. Please use the gallery section to see photographs of our learning.

Well done Class R! We are really pleased with your progress so far!
