How can we save the tigers?

Big feet sharp teeth warm hearted but fearsome they camouflage they go invisible in the grass tigers have been around for a very long time. Tiger cubs are blind but only half survive they have hunched backs.

Today there are less than 3900 tigers in the wild there are around 8000 in captivity the south china tiger has come back from near extinction as well as the bengal and other sumatran tiger three species have become extinct and the remaining six are endangered.

The javan tiger is small compared to other asian species but they are larger than the bali tiger and similar in size to the sumatran javan tigers were declared extinct three decades ago.

Tigers have lost 95 percent of their historical range the clearing of forests for agriculture and timber as well as the building of roads and other developments pose serious threats to tigers habitats.

If you know of any information of illegal poaching or trade inform the relevant agencies raise awareness of the problem by holding protest and informing others.
